21 New Awards
The Trustees met in September to agreed to make 21 awards, amounting to over £46,000. There were more than double the number of applications received than in the previous round meaning that many worthy cases were sadly unsuccessful on this occasion.
Awards were made in subjects as varied as Neuropsychology, Global Studies, Astrophysics, Cancer Research and Conservation and Biodiversity. Awards were granted to applicants studying at four Scottish Universities as well as the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Amongst others there were also awards to applicants taking courses at the University of Vienna, the University of Ghent, Kings College London, the Royal College of Art, the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge and the National Film and Television School.
We’re delighted to be able to support talented Scots on their educational journey.
